The connection of the bathroom with the toilet seems to be logical in many cases, sometimes it is even the only possible solution to the situation in the household. If we want to keep such a room fresh, this arrangement brings a large but solvable challenge.
The smell of purity – that’s the only thing we want to feel in the bathroom and the toilet. It is possible, but we also have to do something for it. Do not worry, it is not so complicated that it does not manage even a little grown -up child, let alone experienced gentlemen of their household. In most cases, a minor procedure is sufficient and everything is solved.

Leaky fabric softener will solve it
Try a simple trick with fabric softener, ideally in combination with soda. You can also simply pour these ingredients into the tank, but real home fragrance specialists have one more interesting tweak that will make their work easier for many days and weeks. Take the whole (for example, smaller) bottle of fabric softener, make a few holes just above the fluid level and then place it in the tank. Every time it flushes, a little fabric softener breaks out of it, which ensures exactly what we long for – the smell and the feeling of freshness. In addition, thanks to this trick we will reduce the amount of water that the toilet will use for flushing. What does this mean? Among other things, a few crowns of savings that remain on the account.
You can try essential oil
One of the other simplest interventions that you can do to scent the toilet is to drip a few drops of essential oil into the water tank. Of course, you can choose the smell according to your taste, and if it may seem strange, the only such hit lasts two weeks.
Will last many days
It is not that we use all the oil with the first flush. Its essences adhere to the surface of the container, and because they are strong, the smells appear again and again every time you flush. Of course, the difference between the apartment of a single person and the household of a large family will be. However, essential oil is a bet for sure and, moreover, thanks to their antibacterial properties, they are also disinfecting the toilet.
Will you rather use fresh ingredients?
Would you like to try something else? Why not, there are countless options. Perhaps ordinary lemons – just put a few stronger lemon slices (but also another aromatic citrus) into a small mesh bag and hang it carefully in the tank so that it does not interfere with flush, but in the meantime it was immersed in the water. Because it is a natural material, we have to count on the exchange of approximately every three days, but it is certainly worth the amazing feeling that we take care of the toilet, moreover without the use of chemistry, which will also be appreciated by nature.
If you do not have a bag at home that you could use, take your older stockings to help, cut off only the necessary piece. You can then cut the end into two halves so that you can make them a job and attach everything safely to the container.
Toothpaste in a new role
Similarly fresh will also smell toothpaste, which you squeeze into the toilet tank. One, a maximum of two tablespoons and a few days of rest and cleanliness will be enough. In this case, however, be careful and do not overdo the efforts to be as fresh as possible, because it is a material that could cause problems with the throughput of the openings in which the water gets into a bowl to fulfill its function.
