Store data elsewhere

You have trouble saving new files, photos or download applications due to lack of space on your phone. What about it? Replace with a new one? This is also possible, but if the phone suits you, the flashlight still holds and you are not yet bothering the message that “the application is not available for your phone”, then there is no need to consider buying a new smartphone.

But if you want, you can improve it with a micro SD card or a small memory card, about your SIM card. This can usually be tucked into the phone to the designated slot or into the socket. You can buy micro SD cards with a capacity of 64, 128, 256 or 512 GB or gigabytes, or 1 TB or terabyte.

However, you will use this storage if you want the data to stay on your phone or if you want more applications on your phone that always require additional space.

But if you are mainly interested in photos and other files, then do not hesitate to use cloud storage. The cloud is a repository or if you want a memory somewhere outside your phone to which you connect using the Internet. Individual folders, be it pictures, texts, presentations and more, will still appear to be stored on your phone, but in practice they will not take up space on it, but outside the phone on a remote server. The basic cloud storage is often free of charge, it is paid only for any capacity to increase.

The only advantage is that this cloud storage is very voluminous and you can also buy more more space for your data. If you irreversibly break, drown or otherwise damage your phone, you will not lose everything and appreciate the cloud. You will still have access to the cloud files from a new or other phone, laptop or computer.

How to manage data?

Lubricating photos of insufficient space for your data will probably not solve, but you should definitely keep in these files. Administration or organization and regulation of this data is a healthy approach to using your phone, cloud and other storage. It is also good to have a system.

You can lubricate the data manually, which is better to dispose of all possible duplicates and unnecessary images. For larger and more massive disposal of unnecessary data, very practical and undemanding applications can be used for storage that are designed to reduce unnecessary files.

These will show you a little used applications and various affected files that you no longer use. They will then let you decide. After considering the files, you will delete or keep them. So you don’t have to worry about doing a short process with holiday photos or a funny home video capturing your pet.

The files you can lubricate are also cache. The cache on your phone is used to load applications or websites faster. These are temporarily stored data that you can delete. It is formed again if necessary. The volume of this data is not large compared to photos or video recordings. Deleting cache is recommended, for example, when there is an error in the functioning of a particular application.
