The works of the High Mamedio Bittar continue to advance on Avenida Ceará. To accompany the progress, the mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom, made, on the morning of Friday (21), a technical visit to the place, accompanied by Senator of the Republic Márcio Bittar.

At the time, the mayor emphasized that the work will be completed in 2025. “This work is to open in the middle of September, perhaps a little later, but if God willing, this inauguration will happen this year. No longer a city like Rio Branco has no high and viaducts, ”he said.
Bocalom also stressed that, when completed, the viaduct will help the population save fuel and will have more time to enjoy with their families. In addition, it revealed that there is the possibility of other types of the type at landscape points in traffic.

According to the mayor, more than $ 10 million in their own resources were invested in the work.
Senator Márcio Bittar also highlighted the importance of urban mobility works carried out by the mayor.
“He inaugurated last year the high Beth Bocalom and, together with this work, we will benefit about 30,000 people daily,” said Bittar.
The two also visited the works of the Elias Mansour market. The senator revealed that the market is a space of his childhood, that he did not have the opportunity to visit in adulthood, and expressed his pride in being able to help with the recovery of the place.
“Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing work in Brasilia being performed in our state. Today we are here that will become a garage, with capacity for over 80 cars, which will help many people attend the market, ”he said.

Mayor Tião Bocalom also recalled that R $ 9 million were invested by the city, in addition to R $ 20 million from Senator Bittar amendments.
“These works are really the hallmark of our management, the market, the viaducts. It’s a lot done with their own resources, ”he said.
“I want to thank Senator Márcio Bittar for this partnership, who has lasted more than 20 years, looking at Acre,” concluded the mayor.
