In a meeting with the board of the Fluminense On Thursday (20.FEV.2025), executives of BTG Pactual said they already had investors interested in the transformation of the Rio club into a SAF (Society of Football).
According to the Globo Esporte website, the bank’s executives told the top hats that a proposal will be presented soon, so that the team is no longer a non-profit civil association and becomes a club.
The meeting was attended by Mario Bittencourt, president of Fluminense, Mattheus Montenegro, deputy general, and Paulo Todoro, deputy finance. “Once we receive a proposal, we will inform the fans and the partners, with all transparency”, said Montenegro.

BTG Pactual was hired by Fluminense to analyze finances and advise the club in search of investors.
