President took routine exams at the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in São Paulo; were scheduled for December 2024, but were postponed because of an emergency procedure
The 79-year-old president (PT) held his annual checkup on Thursday (20.Fev.2025) at the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in São Paulo. The petista also performed neurological examinations of postoperative control. According to his personal doctor, Roberto Kalil Filho, the result showed that there are no more bruises on the president’s head. In December, Lula had to contain a brain hemorrhage as a result of a domestic accident he had suffered in October.
“Among the exams that were done at checkup, it was observed in neurological examinations for postoperative control that there are no more bruises, which is a very satisfactory result,” Kalil said to Poder360.
Lula left Brasilia in the early afternoon of Thursday and traveled to the state capital. He arrived at the hospital around 5 pm and left at midnight.
