According to Cid, the request to locate Moraes took place on December 16, 2022, one day after the cancellation of the plan. He mentioned that a judge of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) was among the contacts of the military, collaborating with the Armed Forces in the preparation of documents.
The plan, called “Yellow Green Dagger”, had as targets not only Moraes, but also President Lula and former Governor Geraldo Alckmin. The operation was interrupted on December 15, 2022, but the reasons for this decision have not yet been clarified. After the cancellation, Cid said Bolsonaro made a new request to monitor Moraes’s location.
During the hearing, Minister Moraes warned Cid about the possible consequences of not reporting the truth. Lieutenant Colonel changed his version in crucial aspects of the case, but his denunciation was maintained, while the arrest request against him was withdrawn.
Cid also mentioned a meeting in November 2022 at the residence of General Walter Braga Netto, which aimed to create a “social chaos” to justify military intervention. In addition, Cid changed his narrative about the departure of other military personnel from the meeting, stating that it was Braga Netto who asked him to withdraw.
