Current transfer limits
Currently, MB Way users can send up to 2,000 euros for each transfer. This limit, defined by the platform, applies independently of the bank associated with the account. However, each banking institution can establish additional restrictions, according to its internal policies.
In monthly terms, the service allows up to 5,000 euros, distributed by a maximum of 50 transfers. Thus, even if the total value of transactions does not exceed the established ceiling, the number of operations performed is also a determining factor for the continuity of the service in the current month.

Prior to the changes implemented in September 2024, the transfer limits on MB Way were more restrictive. The maximum value per transfer was fixed in 750 euros. In addition, there was a monthly limit of 2,500 euros for the total transfers sent and received. After updates, the transfer limit increased to 2,000 euros, and the monthly receipt limit was raised to 5,000 euros, maintaining a maximum of 50 monthly operations.
These changes reflect the evolution of users’ needs and adapt the platform to an increasingly digital market. The update not only expands the transaction possibilities, but also follows the security and compliance requirements imposed by regulatory entities.
Limits for Payments at Multibank Terminals
In addition to transfers, MB Way allows payments at ATM terminals, with a daily limit of 1,000 euros per card. This value can be adjusted by the user through the application with a maximum ceiling of 2,400 euros per month. Payments up to 50 euros do not require the introduction of PIN unless the accumulated value exceeds 150 euros, when the security code is requested again.
Another relevant functionality is the ability to generate temporary virtual cards for online purchases, ensuring greater security in transactions made on digital platforms. This option allows you to set a maximum value and a specific expiration date, avoiding unnecessary exposures of the main card data.
How to consult and change the applicable limits
Transfer and payment limits can be adjusted directly to the MB Way application, in the account settings. Users can customize daily and monthly ceilings according to their needs and the conditions imposed by the associated bank.
Alternatively, it is possible to request the change directly from the banking institution, following the procedures defined by each bank, which may include face -to -face validation or via homebanking.
