The state -owned company did not disclose the reason for the resignation of lawyer Marcelo Gasparino da Silva
Lawyer Marcelo Gasparino da Silva resigned to the post of Member Board of Directors of Petrobras. The information was given by the state -owned company released on Thursday (20.FEV.2025).
According to the company, Gasparino must remain in office by March 20, or until a new member is appointed. According to the Petrobras Statute and the SA Law, the Board of Directors may fill the post until the General Assembly of Shareholders, scheduled for April 26.

“Petrobras informs that it received today’s resignation MARCELO GASPARINO DA SILVA to the position of Administration Counselor of the Company, with effect from 03/20/2025 or until the eventual appointment of a substitute for the Board of Directors, which occurs first.
“The company clarifies that, pursuant to article 150 of Law 6.404/76 and article 25 of the Statute, in case of vacancy of the position of Administration Counselor, the position may be filled by a substitute appointed by the Board of Directors, until it is An next General Assembly of Shareholders, which, in this case, is already expected to take place on 16/04/2025.
“If, after the rites of governance and pertinent integrity, this appointment occurs before the Assembly of 16/04/2025, the company will make proper communication to the market.”
