R $ 6 million program seeks to train 5,000 young people from communities in the North, Northeast and Midwest regions
The, in partnership with Shell, announced the creation of the Rouanet Youth Program, which will have initial investment of $ 6 million. The launch is scheduled for next Tuesday (25.Fev.2025), at 10am, at Club of Choro de Brasilia.
The program aims to direct resources from the Rouanet Law to support cultural production among young people, especially in communities with less access to cultural investments. The goal is to reach at least 5,000 young people.
The goal is to empower young people from quilombola, indigenous, LGBTI, people with disabilities and residents of urban peripheries in the North, Northeast and Midwest, historically less contemplated with cultural investments.
Young people will have access to practical workshops in various areas, including performing arts, literature, music, visual arts, museology, social memory and electronic games.
The inclusion of electronic games is intended to connect with the digital generation and recognize the importance of games in contemporary culture.
Each approved project may receive up to R $ 200 thousand, with technical follow -up to ensure its viability and social impact. The announcement will be published in February 2025, being the beginning of the project submission phase.
