The Minister of (STF), warned Lieutenant Colonel about possible omissions in his award-winning denunciation and threatened to revoke the agreement if he did not reveal the whole truth about the coup plot.
The statement took place at a hearing held on November 21, 2024, and was released on Thursday (20) by decision of the magistrate himself.
In the recording, Moraes states that (PF) identified contradictions in Cid’s statements about the alleged coup and illegal monitoring of authorities, including the STF minister himself.

“I want facts. I would say this is the last chance for the employee to tell the truth about everything, ”Moraes told the military.
During the hearing, Moraes made it clear that Cid could have losing the benefits of the deal if he continued omitting information. In addition, he pointed out that the termination of the denunciation would affect his family, including his father, wife and daughter.

“Under penalty not only of the decree of arrest, but also the termination and consequent termination of collaboration, and eventual termination will even encompass the continuity of investigations and liability of the father of the investigated, his wife and his greatest daughter,” said Moraes .

The minister also emphasized that the denunciation cannot be selectively used to protect allies and incriminate only a few.

“The employee reports the facts, but who decides who will be prosecuted is the Public Prosecution Service, and who judges is the Supreme Court. It is not the employee who chooses who did something or not, ”he said.
“I will pass the word to him [Cid]But I already… because then – and I want to say here, I won’t say I didn’t warn – then I have a detailed report not only of the investigation but the new report that the Federal Police are now presenting, ending the investigation into the Attempted 700 pages detailed, ”added Moraes, implying that incompatibilities of the PF report to the denunciation could compromise ICD.
Cid changes version and maintains denunciation
After the warning, Mauro Cid changed his version of the facts, reinforcing the connection of the former president (PL) and the high-ranking military to the orchestration of a coup.

Among the points reviewed by Cid, there is a meeting with Bolsonaro at the General’s house in November 2022. Initially described as an informal meeting, the meeting was presented as part of a strategy to foster social chaos and justify one Military intervention.
The new version of Lieutenant Colonel strengthened (PGR) against Bolsonaro and 33 others investigated, pointing out that the alleged plan involved popular mobilizations and clandestine actions to rise the government transition.
With the inclusion of these new elements, the denunciation agreement was maintained, and Cid’s testimony became a key piece in the accusation against Bolsonaro.
