The minister of the Federal Supreme Court determined on Wednesday (19) that the X (former Twitter), the entrepreneur, make “immediate” the payment of R $ 8.1 million to the public coffers regarding the fine imposed by the magistrate to the platform last year.
The Order was decreed in the inquiry records that, instituted at the request of journalist Juliana Dal Piva, author of the book “The Business of Jair: The Forbidden History of the Bolsonaro clan” (Editora Zahar).
In representation to the court, Dal Piva accused Santos of publishing forged messages on social networks last June, in which she confessed to a plan designed by Moraes to arrest Bolsonaro.
In addition to ordering the opening of an inquiry in the Federal Police on the case, Moraes determined that the platform, within two hours, blocking profile linked to the ally of the former president under penalty of daily fine of $ 100,000 in case of non-compliance.
According to the case file, in October last year, due to the breach of the measure, the minister ordered that the judicial secretariat of the court would raise the total amount of the fine imposed on the company of Musk. The sector reported that the penalty totaled R $ 8.1 million. That same month, Moraes ordered the payment to be made.
The company contested, but the minister rejected the arguments in November. The X lawyers, then, asked for information about the bank account in which the deposit should be made, data that contained in the decision of Moraes this Wednesday.
