Contra () uses the collaboration of as an important confirmation mechanism of the coup plot, but, while extolling points that incriminate the former president, leaves out speech of the former auxiliary that contrast with the accusation.

Since signed a denunciation in September 2023, Cid has promoted some episodes of shuttle in his statements.

The PGR highlights Cid’s denunciation at the point that he confirms that Moraes was monitored twice, one at the request of military personnel who would be part of the yellow green dagger operational group, and another at the request of the former president himself.
“Mauro Cid confirmed, still,” wrote Paulo Gonet, that “who requested the monitoring of Minister Alexandre de Moraes ‘was former President Jair Bolsonaro.'”
The complaint leaves out, however, that in the version of Cid Bolsonaro asked for monitoring not in the context of the murder operation, but because he was annoyed to have received the information that the minister, his disaffected, was meeting his deputy, .
Another point where the complaint collides with the CID’s lines, without mentioning, refers to December 15, 2022, the day the authorities’ murder operation would have been put into practice and aborted.
PGR highlights messages between one of the military and Cid, who was out of Brasilia.
“After the operation was aborted, Rafale Martins de Oliveira sent a message at 9:05 pm via WhatsApp application to Mauro César Barbosa Cid, stating ‘Opa’. Cid replied at 9:16 pm with ‘I will change position’.”

Another important point of the coup plot concerns a meeting of military in Brasilia on November 28, 2022, in the context of the elaboration of an internal letter in order to press the army commander, Marco Antonio Freire Gomes, to join the coup .
The PGR did not include in the complaint of the Cid version, according to which the meeting was not discussed in the direction of coup, but it was summed up to a “bar chat” of military personnel who were unhappy with the electoral defeat.

Two days later, in front of Moraes and under pressure from being arrested and having the denunciation canceled, the version changed a previous meeting at the General’s house, stating that there was a discussion there to promote social chaos that justified the rupture.
He reaffirmed, however, that he did not follow the entire meeting and cannot say what was planned exactly.
Both the PF investigation and the complaint against General Estevam Theófilo, head of the Army Land Operations Command (Coter), are based on Cid.
In messages, he hinted that Theophilus would accept to put the troops on the streets for Bolsonaro if he signed an exception measure.
The complaint did not consider, however, what Cid said in his last statements. On these occasions, Lieutenant Colonel said he believed that Theophilus would follow the orders of the Army High Command and that he would not go over the authority of the force commander.
