Step 1: Preparation
Prepare a straight area. You will also need sandpaper about grain size P120 and P600. They are available for a few crowns in the hardware store. If you do not remember the P120 and P600, just say when shopping in the store that you are going to grind the knives from the mill, it will certainly advise you.
Step 2: Removing a meat grinder
This is followed by dismantling the grinder and removing the blade. If you did not ensure the instructions from the box, you need to proceed with the logic step by step. Also, try to remember or even write down, or even better take a picture with your phone, as you did, then putting everything back correctly again. Manufacturers of some products indicate each part with numbers, which is a good helper. If the numbers are missing, the alternative is to mark them with a black marker.
Also, wipe all parts with a cloth, there are certainly residues of meat products, or pastries and the like. Also, turn on the “Caution” button in your head and proceed with caution to avoid scratching some sharp parts.
Step 3: Blade sharpening
Once the blades are outside, we start grinding itself. Don’t worry, it’s nothing you can’t do. We recommend that you put on gloves to avoid any unwanted injuries. Place sandpaper on the grain size P120 on a flat surface. When grinding each part of the blade, tilt the pieces by 45 degrees. If metal shavings remain on the blade, be sure to wipe them. You wouldn’t want to have them in meatballs.
Finish the whole process by crossing the P600 grain size, swing the blade about four times. Use ordinary paper and cut it as a proper grinding test.
Construct the grinder back and you’re done, you can mow meat.
