The recipe for Brookie combines two desserts, but it is in fact simple. It does not require preparing creams or topping and intricate layers, and both masses will be prepared quickly using a mixer.

Ingredients for cookie mass:

  • 170 g of butter,
  • 150 g of brown sugar,
  • 50 g of white sugar,
  • large egg,
  • large yolk,
  • a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a few drops of aroma,
  • 250 g of universal flour,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • a pinch of baking soda,
  • approx. 150 g dessert chocolate with high cocoa content.

Ingredients for mass brownie:

  • 180 g of bitter or dessert chocolate,
  • 170 g of butter,
  • 280 g of sugar (white or brown),
  • 3 large eggs,
  • large yolk,
  • a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a few drops of aroma,
  • 100 g of universal flour,
  • 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa powder,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • A flat teaspoon of baking powder.

Preparation method:

Take the butter and eggs out of the fridge to get room temperature. Prepare a cookie cake: Grate the soft butter with sugar to a smooth mass, add egg, yolk and vanilla extract and continue to make up. In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour, salt and baking soda. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet and knead into a homogeneous mass. Finally, add chopped chocolate and mix again.

Go to prepare the brownie cake. Chop the chocolate and dissolve, set aside to cool. Grate the soft butter with sugar until you get a smooth mass. Then add the egg and yolk and gnaw for about a minute at high speed until the dough becomes fluffy. Add vanilla extract and chocolate. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and in batches, add to the dough, stirring until a smooth mass is obtained.

Put the bottom of the baking tray with baking paper and pour the chocolate cake into it (brownie). Take off large pieces of cookie mass, crush them in your hands so that they take on a flat form and press in the brownie. When the entire cookie cake is lined, put the baking tray in the oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for 30-40 minutes.
