United States President Donald Trump again criticized the BRICS countries in a speech at the Republican Party governors conference on Thursday night, 20. The bloc was originally formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China and Africa South.
Trump said the Brics countries “were trying to destroy” the dollar and criticized former President Joe Biden for not interfering with the matter. “When I arrived, the first thing I said was: any nation of the Brics that does not even mention the destruction of the dollar will have to pay a 150%rate. And we don’t want your products. ”
Several times throughout the speech, the US president has praised the strategy of threatening other countries with import tariffs. Trump said “fare” is his favorite word of the dictionary, after “God”, “love” and “religion.”
Trump also stated that the future of Republicans is associated with his success in the White House and has called for the party union for the middle -term elections in the United States. “Let’s fight hard, because the better I go, the better you will be,” he said. “It’s time for us to all move on, think great, to be bold. As a single team, we can make our borders stronger, our safer communities, our better schools, our happiest families, our richest citizens and our freer country. ”
The US president also criticized US Agency for International Development Agency (USAID) in foreign countries and the presence of immigrants in the US. Trump also recalled that he intends to “take back” the control of the Panama Canal.
