Currently, broccoli are eating people on all continents. Nobody is surprised, because it is a delicious and healthy plant, perfect for many recipes.

The list of benefits from consuming broccoli is really long – it can undoubtedly be said that this is a real vitamin bomb.

Why is it worth eating broccoli? First of all, it is a valuable source of fiber, antioxidants and vitamins: A, C, K, E and those from the B group. Carotenoids contained in broccoli are great for eyesight, they also provide potassium, calcium and other valuable minerals. It is also worth eating broccoli for better functioning of the circulatory system or digestive tract. They also work preventive in preventing stomach ulcers. Especially young broccoli sprouts are effective support with peptic ulcer disease.

Sulforaphane is an extremely valuable ingredient contained in broccoli. Thanks to it, this vegetable has an anti -cancer effect. In addition, broccoli – next to Cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and cabbage – it is a cross vegetable. His regular consumption can protect, among others before colorectal or breast cancer. The aforementioned Sulforaphane also counteracts joint degeneration.

People with diabetes can reach for broccoli without any fear – this is a vegetable with a low glycemic index. Therefore, it also works great for people who want to take care of the figure.

Who shouldn’t eat broccoli? This vegetable should not be found in the daily diet of people struggling with stomach hyperacidity or pancreas problems. Eating broccoli should also be limited by people who have hypothyroidism.

This extremely healthy vegetable works with various recipes. Today we offer you delicious Broccoli cutlets.

To make them, you need:

  • 1 large broccoli,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 egg,
  • 8 tablespoons of semolina,
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs,
  • 1 tablespoon of butter,
  • Frying oil,
  • black pepper,
  • Sun.

Cook the broccoli divided into smaller florets until tender, strain and cool.

Chop the onion finely. In hot butter, we blush the onion, mix from time to time.

Crush the cooled broccoli with a fork and translate into a bowl, add browned onion, egg and semolina, season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

We form chops from the broccoli mass and bread them in breadcrumbs.

Fry the chops in hot oil on both sides until golden brown. Fryed chops are drained from excess fat on a paper towel.
