“I don’t think it’s important for Volodymyr Zelensky to attend Ukraine peace negotiation meetings,” US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News Radio earlier. “He has been there for three years. It makes it very difficult to make agreements, ”added the Republican.
Asked, Trump said he would accept a telephone call from the president of Ukraine. “I’m not playing games,” he said. “When he Zelensky said he was not invited to the meeting in Saudi Arabia, that was not a priority, because he did such a bad job in negotiations so far,” he added.
The American leader also assured that he believes he is able to convince Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is willing to negotiate by the Russians.
Trump also suggested that former President Joe Biden could have avoided the beginning of the conflict. “Every time I say, ‘oh, it’s not Russia’s fault,’ I’m always attacked, but Biden said the wrong things, Zelensky said the wrong things,” he said. “Joe Biden is a very dumb man.
