One man accepted Friday afternoon and was seriously injured in his monument in the Tagesspiegel newspaper.
According to the same source, police have blocked the city center and are conducting investigations.
Bild reports that the incident took place between the monument and the US Embassy. There are strong police forces, rescuers, as well as several emergency vehicles.
According to Bild information, at present, authorities do not see any obvious relationship of the attack with the Embassy or the Holocaust Monument.
The perpetrators were fled after the incident and are being sought.
At the same time, on Thursday, police arrested an 18 -year -old Checheno, who is believed to have been planning an attack on the Israeli embassy in Berlin, with an Islamist motivation. The suspect was arrested at Berlin-Vrandembourg Airport while trying to escape to Africa via Constantinople.
According to Focus, the 18 -year -old is estimated to have accomplices and intended to send a letter – a bomb to the embassy and, if he failed, knife attacking people in front of the building.
