João Paulo Ferreira da Conceição, 21, and Maurício do Nascimento Marruch, 37, were injured after a collision between a motorcycle and a bike on Friday afternoon, 21, on the AC-40 highway, after Parque Chico Mendes, in the Vila Acre neighborhood, in the second district of Rio Branco.

According to police information, Maurício was driving a bicycle on the bike path in the neighborhood-center direction, when he realized that a driver who was driving a white Fiat Cronos in the center-watery direction, would make a right conversion to enter a residential. When he came across a puddle on the bike path, he deflected, throwing his bike into the middle of the highway, and was hit by motorcyclist João Paulo, who was driving in the center-warehouse in a black Honda CG 125 Fan, plate NAA -7g55.

With the impact, João Paulo fell off the motorcycle, hit his head on the ground and suffered momentary memory loss, seizure and a bruise on his forehead. Maurício had abrasions on his body.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered and sent two ambulances, one basic and one of advanced support, to the site. The paramedics provided first aid to the victims and referred them to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. According to rescuers, João Paulo was admitted to the hospital in stable health, but his clinical condition can get worse. Mauritius remains stable.
Military police from the Traffic Battalion cordoned off the area to perform the expertise. Upon completion of expert work, João Paulo’s motorcycle was removed by a friend, while Mauricio’s bike was handed over to family members.
