The president of the United States, said on Saturday (22), that he would like his advisor, the billionaire, to be “more aggressive” in the implementation of his reform agenda to reduce federal government spending.

“Elon is doing a great job, but I would like to see him more aggressive,” Trump wrote on his social truth platform. “Remember, we have a country to save,” he added. Trump put the mega -technology mega in charge of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge), with the task of reducing public spending and combating alleged corruption.

Musk, the richest person in the world and Trump’s largest donor, fired thousands of federal government officials. In the last cuts, announced on Friday, the US Department of Defense will reduce its civil labor force by at least 5% from next week.

A judge rejected a union proposal on Thursday to temporarily suspend the resignation of thousands of people. The wave of cost cuts has generated resistance on several fronts and a series of contradictory court decisions.
