Purga in the high military controls of the United States. The cessation of the country’s maximum military command has announced, the second African -American who had reached that position after Colin Powell more than three decades ago. The way he has released it has not shone by his fineness: he has revealed it in a message on social networks on Friday night. Almost immediately afterwards, the Secretary of Defense, television expressing Pete Hegesh, proclaimed the cessation of the Chief of the General Staff of the Navy, Admiral Lisa Franchetti, and other high positions of the military hierarchy.

As revealed by the president of the United States, he has proposed to relieve Brown as head of the General Staff Board of the Armed Forces to the Lieutenant General (a three -star general) of the Air Force Dan “Razin” Caine. The step is unusual: the usual thing is to choose a four -star general, the flower and cream of the military estate. In addition, Caine had already passed to the reservation.

The purge had been announcing. Before being confirmed in his position, he had assured that he would eliminate the egalitarian mentality and the programs to promote the diversity of the pentagon and cease those who have either promoted that culture or – according to him – they have benefited from it without deserving it. Previously, Trump proposed at the head of the Pentagon, the former military had mentioned Brown as one of the great representatives of both categories. In one of his books he had also accused Franchetti, the first woman to occupy a position at the Board of Chiefs of Staff, of having been a “signing of inclusion policies.”

On the same day of his investiture Trump had already relieved the head of the Coast Guard -who in the United States is considered one of the bodies of the Armed Forces -Lisa Fagan, with the argument that he had excessively promoted diversity between his ranks .

“I want to thank General Charles ‘CQ’ Brown for his more than forty years of service to our country, including as head of the General Staff Board. He is an excellent person and an outstanding leader, and I wish him a great future to him and his family, ”Trump writes.

His successor “is a remarkable pilot, expert in national security, successful businessman and combatant with significant experience in various departments and special operations,” he says.

Brown had been appointed at the head of the General Staff in 2023 after having been chosen by Trump to direct the Air Force in 2017. His cessation arrives before what was up to him: the usual thing is that the maximum head of the military hierarchy occupies the position four years and during two different presidential mandates, to underline that it is not a political position.

In his message on his social network, Truth, the US president also revealed that he had asked Hegseth the cessation of five other military commanders and their names would be announced “very soon.” Just minutes later, the Secretary of Defense announced the cessation of Franchetti and number two of the Air Force, General James Silfe. He also wants to replace the heads of the judicial services of the Army, the Navy and the aviation.

Trump stands out on his selection as a maximum military command that in his first “Razin” mandate was “fundamental” in “the total annihilation of the Islamic State Caliphate. He did it in record time, in a matter of weeks. Many alleged military geniuses said they would need years to defeat ISIS. But General Caine said it could be done quickly and fulfilled it. ”

The president denounces that “despite being very qualified and his predecessor, Democrat Joe Biden, ruled out Caine. “But not anymore! Together with Secretary Hegesh, General Caine and our military will recover peace through force, will first put our Armed Forces. ”

When Biden announced his Brown selection, he stressed that the general “has a unique knowledge of our operations and areas of operation, and a strategic vision to understand how to collaborate to guarantee the security of Americans.” His experience included, before leading the General Staff of the Air Force, the command of the American air power El Pacífico, an area of great geostrategic interest for Washington and where the rivalry between the United States and China reaches its greatest intensity. He had also been destined in Europe and the Middle East.

Despite his professed Laconism, Brown has spoken with eloquence about the difficulties of black soldiers in climbing the military hierarchy, and about his personal experience. During the manifestations of (“The lives of blacks matter”) in 2020, he narrated in a video the discrimination he had suffered throughout his life, even within the army. The video, published while its confirmation was still pending at the head of the Air Force, went viral, especially among US troops.
