Sleep is essential for our body and the rule is that the better we sleep, the easier we will retain health, good mood and freshness. Pillows also play a big role in the quality of rest. What should we know about them?

According to the studies, the pillow height has a direct impact on the position of the spine, either on its natural shape or on deformations that arise in the case of an unnatural body position. And not just that. When we have a head in sleep on our backs too raised, you can imagine that in an upright position we are still dealing with our heads with our heads. How long will it take to hurt us behind the neck due to tense neck muscles?

Against this sleep on a low pillow, ideally on its modern, anatomically shaped form, can have a positive effect not only on the position of the spine and neck, but generally on the limitation of various problems associated with the musculoskeletal pain as a whole. “We are fighting more than enough during the day. So what shape, height and hardness of the pillow should we choose if we want to sleep not only well but also healthy? According to experts, it also depends on the preferred location in which you spend most of the night. For sleeping on the abdomen, we should choose a low and soft pillow that leaves the head to choose the right position and offer us only comfort and good feeling of soft background.

On the contrary, for those of us, who sleep mainly on the back, the best choice will be the middle pillow – in all directions, both in height and iz view of softness. The modern, anatomically shaped pillows are recommended, which partly adapts to the shape of the body, but also manage to sufficiently balance the tension of the cervical muscles and thus provide them with effective assistance and support at the time of rest.

Stand your back to the wall, retreat slightly and bend in your knees. The lower back must still remain in contact with the wall. Lean your head on the wall and be careful not to bend in your back. In the next stage, try to compare your shoulders as if you want to press them as much as possible to the wall and at the same time push them down to the ground.
The hands will fall straight according to the body. Finally, open your palms and press them to the wall that should now touch the entire torso. Try to push the most as you would like to move the wall – of course with reason… the spine will compare and with regular use of this advice you will have less painful life. You just can’t spoil it with the wrong selection of the pillow.
