The “hatred for the Jews” was, according to the German authorities, the motive of the 19 -year -old Syros, who was arrested as a suspect for a knife -wing man at the Holocaust monument in downtown Berlin.
Wasim M. arrived in Germany via Serbia two years ago as an unaccompanied minor, and at his hearing he claimed that he had arrested and tortured the status of Assad. A few months ago he received officially protection status.
Yesterday afternoon he was at the Holocaust monument to “kill people, if possible Jews” and attacked a Spanish tourist, even trying to cut his neck from behind. The victim was seriously injured, but was quickly decorated in the hospital where he underwent surgery and is now out of danger.
The perpetrator fled and was arrested three hours later, with blood in his hands. In his backpack two knives, the Koran and a rug for prayer were found.
