The CIS coalition is against the increase in GDP in defense. A possible increase in defense expenditure at 3.5 percent would be, according to the chairman of the CIS Andrej Danko, economic death. It also disagrees with the gradual increase in expenditure. The CIS will tolerate a maximum of two percent of GDP for defense that Slovakia is giving today. He said this in the TA3 TV discussion show in politics.
Danko is also against further tax raising, and he also criticized the introduction of a transaction tax in the show. “It is badly set up. If the CIS has more percent, we will cancel the transaction tax, ” noted. In connection with further consolidation, Danko said that we need to talk about savings within the resorts. He thinks that the Ministry of Finance could submit the draft budget in June. “We should not forget the debt brake because we are under pressure that Robert Fico (Smer-SD) will have to give a balanced state budget or ask for confidence,” The CIS chief claims.
KDH chairman Milan Majerský pointed out in the discussion show that if US President Donald Trump will impose duties on the import of European cars, he will threaten jobs in Slovak automakers. The Slovak economy is also threatened by the fact that new people are admitted to ministries and inflation is rising. KDH proposes to increase gambling, introduce equal tax or abolish the transaction tax. Majerský also appeals to move Eurofunds to local governments, which can use them better.
KDH chief thinks that the principle of subsidiarity could pay in Slovakia and competences should be moved to a lower level so that everything is not decided by a strong state. However, according to Danko, Slovakia needs a firm hand.
At the same time, the opposition MP pointed out that Fico is turning into a conservative policy. However, he will show it only to deeds whether they will be built for the protection of families, justice and the rule of law. “Given Fico is better than broken and financed from the West Šimečka (Michal, PS chairman, note TASR),” Danko responded.
According to the CIS chief, Prime Minister Fico is to sign a document with non -attached deputies. He indicated that they would not go to coalition councils. Danko also did not confirm whether the non -attached deputy Rudolf Huliak becomes investment ministers. However, according to Danko’s words, the CIS declared Fico that she had confidence in nominated ministers.
He described the majestic changes in the government as a government lepha. “The whole government coalition is tired of the dispute. It is not a week, a month, it’s more than half a year, ” noted. Majersky claims that Danko quoted the opposition to the Prime Minister in his letter. “You have become an opposition politician towards the Prime Minister and your own government,” noted.
