The mayor of Sena Madureira, Gerlen Diniz, sought the Municipal Civil Police Station on Saturday (22) to register a police report on an irregular payment of R $ 66 thousand, held on January 3, 2025.

According to the mayor, the transaction was made without its authorization by an employee of the previous management, who would have access the system on January 2 and authorized the payment to a company.
“This is a police case. If it is really proven, it is a crime of embezzlement. Unfortunately, this has happened, but it cannot continue to happen, ”said the mayor in a video published on social networks.
After registering the police report, Diniz stressed that the case will be investigated and those who are punished.
“The server accessed the system with an old password of the previous management and made the payment. This will be determined because it is corruption, diversion of public money, ”he said.
The person identified in the police report as the supposed author of the payment is Claudia Helena Teles da Cunha, who became secretary of health of the municipality interim, appointed to the position on June 5, 2024 and dismissed on June 11, 2024 .
Sought by the Contilnet site team, the former secretary said that everything was a big misunderstanding and that the new management does not know how the system works.
“I don’t even have a structure to talk about it, but I’ve gathered all the evidence, I’ve handed it to the lawyers, and they’ll come in with whatever it takes. It was a great misunderstanding. I think the mayor’s team did not understand how the system works, the protocol, but I have all the documents and authorizations, ”said Claudia Helena.
