Hungarian tourists stuck in the Low Tatras, unable to return safely

Mountain rescuers evacuated tourists.

Horná Lehota: Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) helped on Saturday (22 February 2) in the evening of Hungarian tourists who were stuck on the icy surface under Krúpový saddle in the Low Tatras. A couple 44 and 22 could not return safely. HZS informed about it on the social network.

“Three mountain rescuers from Donoval, who had training in this area at that time, left them to help. They achieved and safely evacuated the TRANŠKA. From there they transported them to the HZS house in Bystrej, where the rescue action ended,” HZS said.
