During a 45 -year celebration of the PT, president promises “year of harvesting” and economic growth
During the PT 45th anniversary event held this Saturday (22.FEV.2025) at Pier Mauá, in Rio, the President (PT) said that “It would be crazy after being approved with 80% returning to the government to be a failure”. The petista promised economic growth and “Year of Harvest” for 2025.
Lula took the opportunity to make an informal accountability. The president mentioned a GDP growth (Gross Domestic Product) of 3.2% in 2023, exceeding modest market expectations. The performance, he said, indicates that Brazil is on the right track for economic recovery.
The president also compared the policies of social inclusion of his current term with those of his first mandates. Emphasized that it is “Year of Harvest”period in which the fruits of implemented policies will become more visible to the population.
At the meeting, the petista spoke about the amnesty for those involved in the acts of January 8, the fight against fake news and the defense of democracy. Lula also criticized the anticipation of amnesty claims by accused not yet convicted
