Polish President Andrzej Duda met his American counterpart Donald Trump on Saturday at a conference of a conservative political action (CPAC). Duda confirmed close relations between Warsaw and Washington and said that the presence of the United States in Europe should be strengthened. “I said that the security of Poland and Central Europe should be strengthened, but (Trump) said that I should not worry about one of the most trusted allies,” Duda announced after the leaders’ meeting.
Trump called the Polish President a “fantastic man and his (his) great friend” and their meeting according to the White House “confirmed a narrow alliance between countries.

According to Duda, Trump is interested in “strengthening Ukraine, even through economic ties” and is determined to end the conflict between Kiev and Moscow quickly.
