Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that he is willing to resign as president if it means peace in Ukraine, stating that he could exchange his departure through the country’s entrance to NATO.
Zelensky also pointed out that he wanted to see US President Donald Trump as a Ukraine partner and more than a simple mediator between Kiev and Moscow.
“I really want it to be more than just mediation … this is not enough,” he exclaimed during a press conference.
