Boliqueime Carnival of 2024 | Photos Mesh Communication | DR
Boliqueime is prepared to receive, on February 26, the 2025 edition of the Children’s Carnival, an event that has been growing in the parish and involves several local institutions. The initiative, which will start at 10:00, promises a day full of color and joy, bringing together children and seniors in a lively masquerade parade.
The procession will depart from the Boliqueime Sports Pavilion and will be attended by students from various schools in the parish, namely the EBI/JI Prof. Dr. Aníbal Cavaco Silva, the EB/Ji School of Vale Silves, the EB/JI School of Benfarras and the Patã de Cima kindergarten. In addition to the children, the parade will also include users of the Silves Social and Community Center and the seniors of the residential structure for the elderly (ERPI) of the Brotherhood of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Boliqueime, promoting a moment of intergenerational conviviality.
The initiative, promoted by the Boliqueime Parish Council with the support of the Loulé City Council, aims to involve the entire local community and celebrate the festive spirit of Carnival.
It invites the population to watch and support the event, reinforcing the sense of unity and participation in this carnival tradition.
