Copel sold the entire Cebi to the company Czech Energo Pro (DK Holding Investments, SRO), for the amount of R $ 1.55 billion
Copel exercised a preemptive right to acquire all shares of the capital of the Blue Heaven Generation (GCA) of Neoenergia (), holding a 70% stake in the Baixo Iguaçu Entrepreneur Consortium (Cebi), by Equity Value of R $ 984 million. Copel was already holding a 30% stake in Cebi.
After the transaction, Copel sold all CEI to Czech company Czech Energo Pro (DK Holding Investments, SRO), for the amount of $ 1.55 billion.
Copel received a signal equivalent to 10% of the total value of this equity value, and the remaining balance should be paid by the buyer until the date of closure, with usual adjustments to this type of operation.
