Many times there have been reports of unexpected wealth hiding in the cellars, soils, or as a neglected trivia in drawers. You may also have such a treasure at home, deliberately look among the gramophone records of grandparents.
Before the world’s first record appeared in the world, Thomas Alva Edison played an audio track from a wax -covered roller. It was pushed into differently deep grooves and so it was possible to reproduce the written sounds.
The phonograph, as a front of later turntables, was born. At that time, 1878 was written, but nine years later, the first real album became almost in the form they have been preserved to this day. Although you probably don’t have one of the first similar carriers at home, you can find another treasure of immense prices among those in your personal collection.
What do you not know about gramophone boards yet? You may tell you the youtub video of the author of GZ Media:

What boards are rare?
How does an ordinary turntable become a rarity for which experts and real collectors would literally tear your hands? It is simple and the same as with all other similar objects. It is mainly how many such pieces were made. Smaller series will of course be more valuable.
Board included in the price of a luxury villa
Furthermore, it will also be the preservation of each particular piece – and again there is simple logic: the more preserved, the more expensive. Finally, if you can find such a gem as a signed copy of the John Lennon & Yoko ono-double fantasy, you can start planning a way around the world or buying a very nice villa. This album was sold in 2020 in the auction for twenty million crowns.
Beetles for nineteen million
The former owner of The Beatles – The White Album also came up with a very similar money. But it should be noted that it was the first copy of the album, which was once owned directly by Ringo Starr. She was also sold for nearly nineteen million crowns at the auction.
Two million dollars!
Although they are really high sums, neither of these boards hits ankles for vinyl sold for $ 2 million (more than 48 million crowns). It is Once Upon a Time in Shaolin od American hip hop groups Wu-Tang Clan. It was made in only one copy and its owner also appreciates it accordingly.
Olympic, Plastic and Kryl
You may not find similar gems at home (even if who knows?), But you could come for nice money anyway. Of the Czech titles, the Olympic album Give me more recently has been sold to me…, released in 1992 for more than twenty thousand crowns, as well as a collection of albums of legendary “sculptures”. Like a brother, close the door, or a caravan of clouds (from the 1980s). The boards were sold for more than fifteen thousand crowns.
Consult an expert
So how do you know that you have a small black treasure at home? The easiest way is to take the well -preserved carriers to an expert who can determine their value very precisely. Before that, you can go through a variety of websites before that and determine whether it is about any of the limited or small editions.
In this case, you would have more hope of decent earnings. And if you don’t have such a record? Perhaps it will be good to go (armed with basic knowledge) to one of the close fleas. Here, too, you can often buy literally pieces for a few crowns, which you will turn to the hand many times.
