American singer Roberta Flack died on Monday (24/2) at the age of 88. The artist was known for the interpretation of music Killing Me Softly With His Song — Her version won the 1974 Grammy recording of the year and better female pop vocal performance. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Roberta, pop star, soul and R&B, has been one of the most popular voices of the 1970s. In recent years, she has lost her ability to sing due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (she), which affects the nervous system. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2022.
