Brussels-The EU Commission wants to issue the majority of companies in Europe to the planned CO2 border taxes. On their imports from non-EU countries, only 1 percent of the CO2 emissions of the total imports of the 200,000 companies were eliminated, according to a draft of the Brussels authority for the border tax (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism-CBAM), which Reuters was available on Monday. Only companies that import more than 50 tons per year should now be recorded by the system.
