The parish of Ferreiras, in Albufeira, will be the scene of the traditional Carnival Bum Carnival on March 2 and 4, this year with the theme “Futuristic Carnival”. The parade, which runs on 12 de Julho Avenue, between 14:00 and 17:00, promises a lot of color and animation with floats, thematic costumes and performances inspired by the future.
The initiative has the participation of local associations, sports clubs and guest artists, enriching the event with traveling performances, live music and a contest that will reward the best floats and groups on foot.
The animation will be guaranteed with the presence of a samba school and groups such as Ban’dalila, Dallas Circus, Satori Association, Al-Fanfarre, Football Club of Ferreiras, Nuclegarve, Friends of Ferreiras, Friends of the Guide and Friends of Albufeira.
The parade is open to all who want to join the party, reinforcing the community spirit of the event.
For Jorge Carmo, president of the Parish Council of Ferreiras, “Carnival Brokes is an event that involves the community and promotes local traditions, putting Ferreiras once again as a destination to visit, this time of year”.
The free admission event is organized by, with the support of the Albufeira City Council and the local commerce.
