The Minister (Justice and Public Security) launches this Monday (24) two initiatives involving the national policy about: a system to monitor the circulation of new psychoactive substances and an integration program.
Three ordinances will be signed: one dealing with the National Drug Data Integration Program (PNIDD), another that creates SAR (Fast Drug Alerting System) and a third party establishing the SAR Technical Committee, integrated by IRS , Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency), Federal Police and Civil Society.
The quick drug alert system, an interinstitutional network, will be responsible for monitoring the circulation of new psychoactive substances in the country that is considered a risk to health and public safety. SAR will also produce quick alerts, reports and other scientific documents.
The expert data integration program is an initiative of the federal government and states that involves forensic data analysis by scientific police in the chemical, toxicological, medicinal and epidemiological areas. The initiative seeks to expand skill work and includes investments in training.
