The first lady Rosângela Lula da Silva promotes this Monday (24) an exclusive session of the Brazilian film “I’m still here”, which is, in the palace of Alvorada, official residence of the Presidency of the Republic. The event will take place at 20h and will be attended by several politicians and ministers.
According to the Secretariat of Social Communication (Secom), among the guests are the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), Senate President David Alcolumbre (Brazil-AP Union), his wives, as well as ministers like Margareth Menezes (Culture) and Ricardo Lewandowski (Justice). Family members of Marcelo Rubens Paiva and Eunice Rubens Paiva, involved in the production of the film will also be present.
Janja had shown interest in watching the movie with the president, but the idea of going to a conventional cinema was ruled out. Faced with the logistical difficulty, she and her team contacted production to organize the private session at Alvorada.
In addition to the cultural character, the event also has a political dimension. In recent months, President Lula has been charged by allies who accuse him of being. The film session is seen as an attempt to reverse this picture, promoting an approximation between the president and politicians.
