How to remove mold from curtains

The simplest option is to wash the curtains in the washing machine. But before that, it is necessary to remove the mold that settled on them. And if you want to go naturally, take them a “citrus solution”, so squeeze several lemons and soak the affected areas on the curtains. Then fill it with kitchen salt. Leave for at least half an hour and then wash in the washing machine.

For the sake of completeness, we will add that it is reasonable to test on a small piece of curtains, whether the lemon does not make spots, because some materials can react to the lemon so that the treated area yellows.

Washing in the washing machine has its rules

Always follow the instructions from the etiquette to avoid colliding. If it states that it is necessary to handle, do not really put them in the washing machine, you could irreparably damage them. If the label is missing, probably because you have cut it off after the purchase and before hanging, then do not drink in the washing machine to more than 30 degrees Celsius. Most curtains are now made from polyester, or thirty -stage washing is bearable for them. That would be to mold.

Avoid the dryer, allow to dry freely. And iron even slightly damp.
