Vienna – Despite the economic crisis, the construction group Porr writes increasing profits. The result before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved by 12.9 percent to 158.4 million euros compared to the previous year, as the preliminary figures show. The construction work increased by 2.6 percent to 6.75 billion euros, sales by 2.3 percent to 6.19 billion euros. The company benefits from infrastructure orders, but also from good demand in the sectors industrial building and data center.
