Netshoes, Magalu () sports goods e-commerce, opens this Tuesday (25), in São Paulo, a physical store in the Outlet format. The space located at the Marginal Tietê Magazine Luiza unit is part of the brand’s consolidation strategy in the sports lifestyle market.
With a space of 2,000 square meters and over 18,000 pieces on display, the store will sell articles to an average discount of 45% of the original prices. Recently, Magalu, in the same unit. The company seeks to expand the portfolio to serve practitioners of more modalities and position sports as style items.
“The physical store has always been in our plans. We want to be closer to our consumers, to offer them the opportunity to see and feel closely the products before deciding the purchase, ”says Graciela Kumruian, CEO of Netshoes. “It’s an option for those who prefer this experience and, for us, represents a chance to attract new customers. Also, we have to be where the customer wants and prefer to buy, either on the site, app or going to a physical store. ”
In the second half of 2025, the retailer must inaugurate its concept store in the space where the iconic Culture Bookstore of the National Set was located, on Paulista Avenue. There will be all the brands of the group: Netshoes, Kabum!, Magazine Luiza, Cosmetics and Virtual Bookshell.
For Magalu, the inauguration of the Netshoes store converges with the group’s multichannel strategy. “On site there is already a Magazine Luiza store and an OpenBox Openbox operation, so we have seen an opportunity to test the outlet model and provide our customer with a multi -brand, multicategarian and multimodalities buying experience. Thus showing all the breadth of the Netshoes assortment, without having to enter several stores, ”says Kumruian.
