The parish of Vila Real de Santo António launched the Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Office, a new space dedicated to supporting employment, curriculum creation and providing information on the constitution of companies.
In addition to individualized support, this cabinet aims to be a meeting point to encourage entrepreneurship, especially among young people, helping them develop business ideas and start their own projects. For long -term unemployed, the cabinet will offer continuous follow -up, strategies for an active job demand and professional requalification programs, facilitating its reintegration in the labor market.
The Employment and Entrepreneurship Support Office operates every Tuesday, from 9:00 to 15:00, at the premises of the Parish Council of Vila Real de Santo António.
Valentim Santos, president of, points out that “it is essential that this cabinet establish strategic partnerships with local schools and the city of the City Council’s Youth”, reinforcing the importance of connecting the cabinet and the educational community.
The mayor also underlines that “schools are privileged environments to identify young people with potential entrepreneur and to promote vocational orientation programs. In turn, the Youth Center has a profound understanding of the needs and aspirations of the youth of our community, and can provide valuable insights and support in the implementation of targeted initiatives. Therefore, the implementation of this cabinet in our Parish Council will not only respond to the current needs of our community, but will also contribute to the local economic development, promoting the social inclusion and well-being of our young people and long-term unemployed ”.
