Last Sunday, February 23, another ‘Got Talent Portugal’, the RTP1 talent program conducted by Silvia Alberto, went on.
One of the stage performances was by Julia Prado, who presented a theater scene, portraying the story of a woman who lives an abusive relationship.
The young woman, who failed to go to the gala phase, caused discord between the jurors Filomena Cauté and Rui Massena: “I don’t see the program that makes sense to continue, despite understanding that what you do is needed for the world”explained the conductor.
The presenter and also actress showed herself in disagreement and replied, considering that she was “the brave performance” she has ever seen in the program: “If this has no future in this program is to say that theater has no future in this program (…). I don’t agree, it’s not my opinion ”considered.
The moment was shared on social networks by some people, one of them José Raposo, who was “sad” with the words of the jury, but applauding Filomena caution: “Great Filomena caution! I did not see this program, but only for this post (…) if you realize that in our television, whatever channel it is, the theater has no space, it gives it no expression! And for me, this is so sad, it is the art that best expresses the culture of a people! ”wrote on your Instagram account.
Faced with the post, Rui Massena decided to pronounce and left a comment to the actor: “Dear José Raposo. I am surprised by the interpretation you have had from my words. Me, like you, I’m arts. My life is the stage. Respect and breathe all art forms ”started by clarifying.
And then explained: “Judgment in a talent program is independent of artistic discipline. After the appreciation of talent and artistic competence, it is the taste that sends. Hug”.
