WhatsApp becomes “very large platform” and has to meet new DSA editions

With the latest user numbers that the Messenger has recently published, WhatsApp will be classified as a “very large online platform” (VLOP) as part of the digital service Act (DSA). The EU will be treated by the EU like Facebook or Instagram and must meet stricter requirements.
