The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) authorized that he will investigate another office of the (Superior Court of Justice) in the investigation that investigates the leakage of decisions of the Court and suspected corruption involving court servants.
The decision now places four court offices in the sights of the Federal Police investigation. The PF found messages from a lobbyist celebrating decisions that he would have achieved in the office of Minister Paulo Moura Ribeiro and also raised suspicion about a server who acted there.
The request was filed on November 11 and was authorized on November 18, 2024. In addition, Zanin also complied with another request to unify the investigation in one inquiry. With this, the suspicions involving the offices of ministers Og Fernandes, Isabel Gallotti and Nancy Andrighi will be investigated in a single procedure, along with Paulo Moura’s office. For delegate, this will allow to optimize the progress of the investigation.
The minister’s requests and the decision are under confidential and were only revealed by UOL. In November last year, the PF carried out an operation to investigate suspicions linked to three other offices, on which the investigation was already more advanced. At the time, however, the operation did not involve Moura Ribeiro’s office.
PF suspicions have been so far on servers and there are no formally investigated STJ minister. The court is the second in the Judiciary hierarchy, below only the STF.
PF lists lobbyist messages with lawyer about lawsuits in the minister’s office. The suspicion is that an auxiliary judge of the office of Moura Ribeiro, who was judge of the TJ-SP (Court of Justice of São Paulo), could be a contact of the group in the office. In the dialogues, lobbyist Andreson Gonçalves and lawyer Roberto Zampieri cite that a person named “Gilberto” would be “upset” and would have called Andreson himself.
The PF came to the name of a judge who was assigned to Paulo Moura’s office until January this year. Message exchanges, however, are 2020, and the judge was only assigned to the STJ in 2022. In addition, the judge retired on January 3. The report was unable to contact him.
Delegate also lists 9 lawsuits in Paulo Moura Ribeiro’s office in which Andreson’s wife, Mirian Ribeiro, and Roberto Zampieri acted. PF Delegate Marco Bontempo states in order to the STF that Andreson shared with Zampieri Minutes of case decisions of the cabinet in which his wife acted as a lawyer. In the messages, the lobbyist boasts of having “got” favorable decisions.
Andreson Gonçalves has been arrested since November last year. The entrepreneur is appointed as the main operator of the STJ sentence selling scheme, as he appears in WhatsApp messaging exchanges anticipating decisions and drafts of STJ ministers. His wife, who is a lawyer, has been the target of the operation and is wearing an electronic anklet.
During the analysis of the cell phone, it was seen that Andreson sent to Roberto Zampieri numerous drafts of decisions given by Minister Moura Ribeiro, especially in the lawsuits in which he was a lawyer for one party to his wife and lawyer Mirian Ribeiro. In the context of these dialogues, lobbyist Andreson boasted from having achieved favorable decisions, bragging of his supposed proximity to servants of that cabinet.
What the cited say
The defense of the lobbyist and the lawyer reported that he will only speak before the judiciary. The report also sent email to the STJ last Friday (21), but got no response.
Sought through the STJ, Minister Moura Ribeiro did not respond.
PF did not rule out any searches at the STJ
Although not investigating any STJ minister, inquiry continues in the Supreme. For the delegate of the case, the measure is necessary to ensure that investigation advances without external interference and without the risk of being annulled if evidence involving STJ ministers or other authority with forum in the STF is found.
The delegate does not rule out the involvement of ministers. In demonstration to the Supreme, the delegate indicated that the need for any searches in STJ offices or even the involvement of any minister of the court in the investigated scheme cannot yet be ruled out.
At this point, it is stated that only a small fraction of the data extracted from the cell phone of the victim Roberto Zampieri were analyzed by the police team, given the recent resumption of the analyzes. Therefore, it would be too unwary to rule out the involvement of judges, judges or ministers in the preliminary criminal offenses announced
Coaf detected payment to Judge’s wife
UOL revealed on Monday (24) payment to a TRF-1 (Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region) judge. Coaf (Financial Activities Control Council) report produced in the investigation pointed to payment of lawyer Mirian Ribeiro, wife of lobbyist Andreson de Oliveira Gonçalves, to a lawyer who is married to trf-1 judge.
Coaf detected payment of R $ 938 thousand from Mirian’s office to lawyer Aline Gonçalves, married to Judge César Jatahy. Sought, she said she was hired and provided law services, but gave no details about the processes in which she acted with Mirian. The Coaf report did not point out any atypical transaction involving the STJ ministers.
