The 2025 Family Carnival will start this Friday (28) in the Revolution Square, downtown Rio Branco, and for greater security of the population, the central region will undergo some changes during the party days.

Among the roads that will be banned are Getúlio Vargas Avenue, Rui Barbosa Street and Avenida Brasil. On the 28th and 1st, the interdictions will take place from 17, already on days 2 and 3, traffic will be prohibited from 15h. On the last day of the party (4), the roads will be closed from 12h. From 3 am the traffic will be released.
To adjust vehicle traffic in the region, two other streets will have the meaning changed. One of them is Rua Franco Ribeiro, where he will have towards Rui Barbosa-Avenida Brazil.
A stretch of Getúlio Vargas Avenue will also be directed by amended circulation in it, the vehicles will follow Rua Epaminondas Jácome-Rua Benjamin Constant.
Due to the changes, some bus lines will have the routes altered, aiming at the fluidity in transport. The lines that follow the route towards Centro will have their routes diverted to Avenida Ceará. They are:
- 201 – Tancredo Neves
- 203 – Alto Alegre
- 204 – Mocinha Magalhães
- 205 – Irineu Serra
- 701 – San Francisco/Plates
- 702 – Apolônio Sales/Mangueira
- 703 – Wanderley Dantas
- 708 – Apolônio Sales/Altamira
- 801 – Circular/Address of the Sun/Tropical
Already the lines that follow the center towards the neighborhoods will have their routes changed by the fourth bridge and Avenida 6 de Agosto. They are:
- 101 – North South
- 102 – Taquari
- 103 – Vila Acre/Santa Maria
- 104 – Freedom
- 106 – August 6
- 107 – Recanto dos Buritis
- 108 – Polo Belo Jardim
- 109 – Polo Benfica
- 114 – Bom Jesus/Palke
- 115 – Castanheira/Garapeira
- 116a – People’s City/Chico Mendes
- 117 – Belo Jardim I
- 118 – Belo Jardim I
- 119 – Palheira
- 134 – Baixa Verde
