The Carnival of the Guide, in Albufeira, is back and brings a program full of fun for all ages. This year, due to the weather uncertainty scheduled for Friday, the traditional children’s parade was anticipated for Thursday, February 27, at 10:00. Inspired by the appointment of Albufeira as a European city of Sport 2026, the parade will bring together students from local schools, promoting sports and healthy habits since childhood.
On Saturday, March 1, the party continues with two great parades. The revelers begin the celebration at Galé Beach at 15:30, and then go to the streets of the Guide, from 4:30 pm. Both parades will have the animation of, ensuring even more color and rhythm to the event.
After the parade, from 17:00, the polydortive of the guide becomes the stage of the great carnival matiné, animated by DJ Diamond. As it is already tradition, there will be no shortage of food and drink, especially the pig in the skewer, gathering the community for an afternoon of conviviality and revelry.
The parades on March 1 are open to the participation of organized groups, whether collectivities, associations or informal groups, inviting everyone to join the party.
With a varied and engaging program, the 2025 guide carnival promises to be a memorable event, celebrating the carnival tradition with music, color and animation for all ages.
