A glandular Christmas (Ailanthus Altissima) is a tree from China and North Vietnam. Although it looks impressive, its planting in Poland is prohibited. This species is characterized by exceptional invasiveness, quickly spreading and displacing native plants. Since 2004, the introduction of a synagogue into the environment is legally prohibited, and Since 2012, its possession requires a special permit. Violation of these provisions may result in high financial penalties and criminal liability.

In addition to the glandular god, in Poland, as well as throughout the entire European Union, there is List of plants whose cultivation is prohibited Due to the invasive nature or narcotic properties. Such species include:
- Sosnowski borscht (Heracleum Sosnskyi) – a plant with strong brewing properties, which is a threat to human health,
- Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica) – expansive species, difficult to remove, causing environmental degradation,
- spike (Echinocystis lobata) – climbing climbing, competing with native species,
- cannabis (Cannabis Indica) and MAKE MAK (PAPAVER Somniferum) – Plants with drug properties, whose cultivation without appropriate permits is strictly prohibited.
Strict penalties threaten for illegal cultivation of these plants. Pursuant to the Act on foreign species, an administrative penalty may be up to PLN 1 million. Moreover, for violating the provisions on invasive foreign species, there is a penalty of imprisonment from three months to five years.
