Furia co-founder details plans for new sports and impact of the arrival of the player
Cris Guedes, one of the founders of Furia, told the Poder360 At a event on Monday (24.FEV.2025) that contact with Neymar started about 1 year and a half, when both showed interest in Kings League. “It was a long relationship”, said Guedes.
“When he had the release of Al Hilal and was in the process to sign with Santos, his staff already knew he wanted to take over as president of a team.”he revealed. The agreement was realized as soon as the player had contractual permission.
Cris also told the Poder360 that the Furia has plans to expand its performance to other sports. Although he did not specify which sports they are on the radar, he said there is a ongoing strategic planning. “Furia has a gigantic Business and we debated every day about expansion”said Guedes. He is currently focused on the soccer project within the organization.
With Neymar’s arrival, the fury is expected to attract new business opportunities. However, Guedes has not yet had time to evaluate the impact of partnership on the organization’s marketing.“Neymar is gigantic, he brings a huge media and marketing power. We can see this in Santos and it can happen to Furia too ”these.
