Lula reported the replacement of the body’s ownership to ministers on the afternoon of this 3rd (25.FEV)
The Planalto Palace confirmed on the night of this 3rd (25.FEV.2025) that of the Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade. In its place, the still holder of the SRI (Secretariat of Institutional Relations), (PT). Read A (PDF – 211kb).
Padilha takes office shortly after Carnival, on Thursday (6.mar.2025). The petista’s position must be occupied by (MDB-AL) or (PSD-BA), as both have good traffic with the center-which the government struggles to strengthen the relationship. Another quoted is the government leader in the House, (PT-CE).
The President (PT) met with Nisia on the afternoon of this 3rd (25.FEV). The petista reported to her the replacement of the organ ownership and passed the stick to Padilha.
“The president thanked the minister for his work and dedication to the front of the ministry”wrote the plateau.
One reason for Nisia’s fall would be mismanagement of immunizers against dengue and covid-19, as well as the interest of the century to command part of the ministry’s large budget, which would be facilitated with Padilha.
Nísia has been at the head of the ministry since 2023, with the beginning of the 3rd Lula Administration. He was chosen by the president for his performance in the presidency of (Oswaldo Cruz Foundation) from 2017 to 2022, supported by Roberto Kalil Filho, a personal doctor of the petista, and Alexandre Padilha.
