Species death progresses: Experts see red for domestic nature conservation

Each fourth mammalian type in Austria is considered endangered, almost half of all fish species, three fifths of all amphibian and two thirds of all types of reptiles. In an empty figure, the red lists of the Federal Environmental Office convey how the state of domestic nature is. Whether politics is doing enough to stop this decline is on another sheet of paper. Namely on that of the “barometer of biodiversity policy in Austria”.
